Some of the FAQs

How do I make an Equilateral Triangle

We've had many questions as to the equilateral triangle. The easiest way to make one:

  • lay out your fabric
  • draw a line 30 inches long
  • at the midpoint of the line (at the 15 inch mark) draw a line 26 inches perpendicular
  • draw a line from each end of the 30 inch line to the top of the 26 inch line et voila an equilateral triangle

What if a Quilt gets damaged?

Unfortunately, there have been instances in the past where individuals have defaced quilts. We believe that should a person do this, it's actually a proof of the necessity of the exhibit. For this reason, any defaced quilts will be left in place with an identifier that it was willfully defaced. We will be requiring all venues to pursue individuals who deface quilts to the fullest extent of the law.
